20. If you had the ability to talk to one species of animal, which animal would you choose to communicate with? Why?

If I had the ability to talk to an animal I would talk to a dog. I chose a dog for several reasons but the most important one is that they are loyal, which means that they are always there when you need them. Dogs are amiable and they sheer people up, these qualities are those of a good friend and are critical for human interaction. A great number of people believe that dogs are good listeners and companions, so I would like to question that believe by talking to a dog and figuring out if they actually listen to what humans have to say. I would also like to hear the dog’s opinion on the people’s emotional problems that they have to deal with during the majority of their lives. In addition, I hope to find out another species’ opinion of the human-nature interaction and the environmental conflicts that have arisen the past few years.

There are hundreds of questions and the ability to communicate with another species opens the door to another world and to millions of possibilities. Dogs see the world through a different perspective and probably have other ways of reasoning. These animals also know what to do since they are born, for instance, when dogs reproduce they don’t need anyone to show them how to take care of the puppies, as soon as the puppy is born the mother knows that she has to feed it and stay near. Combining the human knowledge with a dog’s instinct can create a new and improved logic that would help human survival. Today humans are reliable in technology and they have to learn how to survive just by putting nature on their side.
